Our friends from Intense Coffee have launched the first ever Luxembourg edition of the Aeropress Championship. For the competition, we selected a coffee that would be prepared by all the Aeropress enthusiasts in Luxembourg. We chose a washed Ethiopian coffee, which is elegant and full of complexity: beautiful notes of citrus and peach, hints of honey and orange blossom.
The Bochesa washing station was established in 2022 on 1.5 hectares of land and continues to expand with future investment plans that include digging underground water sources, installing artificial dryers and expanding the site. It processes between 500 and 600 tons of cherry from over 800 farmers. To support sustainability and social welfare, the station provides coffee seedlings to the local community and offers financial support and premium payments to farmers based on coffee deliveries.
