We recommend this coffee if you brew your espressos on an automatic or traditional machine or with a moka pot, and if you like your espresso with a bright fruity note.

Fancy trying an espresso off the beaten track? Our Ethiopian espresso is very typical of its region, with notes of blackberry and plum, enhanced by delicate flavours of black tea, and a round, chocolatey body.

Eva Mettu washing station is a facility located in the Illubabor zone, in the Oromia region of Ethiopia. It sits at an altitude of 2000m–2100m. Established in 2015 on 1.5 hectare of land, the facility has since developed with future expansion plans that include digging underground water sources, installing artificial dryers, expanding the site, and setting up solar tunnels.

The station employs eight permanent workers, four seasonal employees, and 110 temporary laborers. Annually, it processes between 300 and 400 tons of cherry from 552 farmers. To support sustainability and social welfare, the station provides coffee seedlings to the local community, offers premium payments to farmers based on coffee deliveries, and extends financial support to underprivileged farmers with pre financing.
