Gitega Hills - Rwanda

We recommend this coffee if you brew it with a filter, a French press or other soft brewing methods, and if you're looking for something easy to brew and to drink.

A tasty pick from Gitega Station in Rwanda, with whom we previously collaborated two years ago. This red bourbon offers a lovely sweetness reminiscent of honey, followed by delightful, subtle fruity notes.

Near the little village of Miko, there are six hectares of hills known as Gitega. This washing station was established in 2016 and currently provides employment for 150 people, mainly women, including eleven permanent employees and the rest seasonal workers. A total of 1,040 farmers participated in making this project possible.
