This year's Kenyan harvests have been amazing, as proved by this lot from Nyeri County. We love its juicy profile, bursting with citrus and berry flavours and a fresh, floral finish. Did someone said cold brew?
The high altitude of 1,700 metres above sea level, combined with Nyeri's rich volcanic soil, creates ideal conditions for the farmers who deliver their cherries to the Ichuga station. Mostly SL28 and SL34, the coffee is grown on small plots averaging less than 1 hectare in size.
